Trade War and “Real” War

On yesterday’s Independence Day of the USA, Donald actually had only one message with his military parade: the US Americans were and remained the number one in the world (Trump: “Because the sky belongs to the
US Americans”).

This claim is not diminished by the probably temporary ceasefire between the USA and China in the follow-up of the G20 summit in Osaka – and that is exactly what makes this ceasefire so fragile. In history a trade war was often the start of a real war, at least of military skirmishes. Does Trump now start a war before the elections – like many US presidents before him did – so that the Americans can stand behind him in the face of the elections? The focus is likely to be on Iran:
