Current: Oil inventories -0.4 million barrels (now 428.1 million)

The weekly reported oil inventories in the USA (crude oil) have just been published at 428.1 million barrels. Compared to the previous week, this is a minus of 0.4 million barrels, whereas expectations for the previous week were -1.0 million.

Gasoline inventories were reported at 251.1 million barrels. This represents an increase of 1.7 million barrels over the previous week. The expectations compared to the previous week were +3.0 million

API inventories published Tuesday evening at 10:35pm were reported at +1.6 million barrels of crude oil. Gasoline inventories were +4.5 million barrels.

Production is 13.0 million barrels per day compared to 13.0 million the previous week.

The price of oil (WTI) reacted in the first few moments after the announcement with +27 cents to 55.20 Dollars.
