The construction boom continues unabated. And every time you think that it can’t go any further upwards. But still it continues upwards, and how! The official turnover figures for the construction industry for April have just been published. Year-on-year sales are up 12.5%. The strongest growth will come from “pipeline civil engineering and sewage treatment plant construction” with +22.0% and “road construction” with +16.6%. The lowest sales growth was recorded in the “other civil engineering” sector (e.g. hydraulic engineering) with +3.8%. Apart from this exception, however, all other sub-sectors recorded double-digit growth! The number of employees is also booming with +2.4% year-on-year!
