Current: Oil inventories with -1.6 million barrels (now 420.5 million)

The weekly reported oil inventories in the US (crude oil) have just been released at 420.5 million barrels. This is a minus of 1.6 million barrels, with expectations of +1.8 million.

The Gasoline stocks were reported at 242.0 million barrels, which represents an increase of 0.3 million barrels compared to the previous week – with expectations of -0.2 million barrels.

API inventories released yesterday evening were reported at -0.9 million barrels of crude oil, with expectations of +3 million. According to API, Gasoline stocks rose by 1.64 million barrels, distillates fell by 3.56 million barrels.

Oil production is reduced by 1,000 barrels per day on a weekly basis, and thus remains virtually unchanged at 10.27 million barrels per day.

The oil price (WTI) reacts in the first few moments after the announcement with +0,80 to 62,30 Dollar.
